Prince Charming Challenge Comes to a Close

Well, it's been some weeks now, and I am finally going to close our challenge. For a first go, it wasn't too shabby a turnout (ok so two of the entries come from other CT members, and another one was from my mom, but we had to start somewhere!)

I know you've seen him before, but I wanted to enter the Busyscrappin' October Animal Challenge, so I got to do another layout of my kitty Calvin.
I used Nezzi Designs great Kittykat Crush kit.

This next one I call Bookworm Bears. Even bears like to read!
Of course I used the Nezzi Designs Bookworm Bob kit to do this one.

And, my little niece.
I used the Nezzi Designs Axess to my Heart kit, which I just love! I also want to thank elenasworld for giving the inspiration for this layout.

Well, another week has passed and we haven't had anymore entries to our Prince Charming Challenge. So this is your last chance...I really want to give away a Nezzi Designs kit, but with only a couple entries, I won't be able to! Each entrant will still receive this lovely kit by me,

but unless we get a few more entries, I can't give away a free Nezzi Designs kit to anyone!
So, one last time, here are the rules:

Hi everyone,

I know I've been MIA for a little while, sorry. I have been having 'issues' with my childrens' school! If you want to know about it, check out my blog here! I having been trying to learn PSP and I have been on several tutorial sites and I learned something! *lol* I made this LO with Nezzi's 'Sunkissed Love' kit. I thought it turned out pretty good and couldn't wait to share it with all of you. I hope you all like it. I even turned it into a QP for you! Well, our Prince Charming challenge has been open 2 weeks now. Unfortunately, we don't have enough entries yet so that I can give away a FREE Nezzi Designs kit! So, since I'm not ready to quit yet, I am going to keep it open to give everyone a bit more time to complete a lovely page. Once I have 5 entries, the challenge is closed. So, please get your entries in soon!

I just want to take a moment first to thank Jessica for giving me this oppertunity to be a CT. This has been fun for me so THANK YOU JESSICA!!! A little about myself I am a stay at home mom of 7 wonderful poodles, wife to a wonderful man and a wicked step mother to two 1 boy 18 and 1 girl 15. I have a soft spot for poodles as you can tell with me having 7 of them but Prince-Ton is our last. Ok now on to what I am here to do haha I have made a few LOs and thought I would share a few of them from different wonderful kits made by NEZZIDESIGNS. As far as making QP, BB and add-ons that will all come in time I am trying to teach myself how to make them so I am hoping within the next to weeks you all will get to see my first QP or BB haha.

This will be my 1st ever post on a blog. YEA! I am very new at this and I want to say a BIG Thank You to Nezzi for giving me this great opportunity to not only do what I've come to fall in love with (digiscrappin) but to learn more about this facinating world. I know she took a chance on me and I hope I can do her justice. She asked us to make a LO using her 'Garden Potpurri' kit. I was amazed with this kit. I love the color sheme. You can make several types of LOs with it. I made a 'girly' one and a 'not so girly' one. It was great to be able to make 2 different LOs with one kit. Here is my LOs (boy, I hope this posts right, LOL). I hope you all like them. My blog will be up and running soon and you can then visit there, I just may turn them into QPs!

First ever Scrappin' Squad Challenge!

Well, I was going to wait until next week for our first challenge, because I just wasn't getting any inspiration for either a challenge or a participation bonus. Then it came to me, how about a Title challenge? The layout I just made had the title "Prince Charming" and it occurred to me that this could have several meanings depending on what your photo is of. So, let's make a challenge from it!

Here are the rules:
--Your layout must have the title "Prince Charming"
**Updated**--You must submit it to me at lynnirene@live.com no later than 5pm EST ~~Sunday, Sept 21.~~ Sunday, Sept 28!
--The layout you email to me should be around 600x600 pixels.
--Each person who sends in a layout will get a little bonus kit from me. I'll post exactly what it is later on in the week.

Jessica has been very busy lately! She has a new kit, Garden Potpourri, which is amazing and lovely. It has tons of elements and I love the colors.
It can be found Busy Scrappin' and Crafty Scraps.

I soon as I saw this, I knew I had to use it for something special. I found a photo of a frog that I took, and realized it would be the perfect centerpiece for her kit.

This LO also includes a few "custom" ribbons by Nezzi herself. If you ask nicely enough, maybe she'll share them with you!

Hi, I'm Lynn and I am happy to be a part of this team. I love making layouts, and I enjoy learning new techniques to make my own papers and elements too. I saw the KittyKat Crush Kit...
and I knew that I had to use it! Here are my layouts so far:

This is my kitty Calvin. He didn't always have a crooked ear, it just appeared one day and stayed like that. I think it's cute though, it's like a "war wound" he can tell stories about to the other kitties (or at least that's what my husband says).

Tara has been in my Scrapoholics group for some time, and I love the fact that she has set up a blog and got in on the CT!! She does make awesome layouts, and her pretty poodles are such good motives for her layouts!! Even though I never cared too much for Poodles, since I've always had German Shepherds myself, I do find Tara's doggies to be adorable :o)

Hi all!
First of all, welcome to your new blog!!
It's nowhere near done, but it's a start, right? *lol* Thanks to Tracy we have somewhere we can post layouts, QP's, Bragbooks, ideas and freebies, addons and what ever you want!!

I wanted to introduce the CT to my readers, and I hope they will come ack here and join in on CT challenges, contests and lots of other fun stuff!! I finally got them all gathered up here, so... here we go:
This is Carolyn, one of the people that I met first of all when I first started digiscrappin in June 2007.
She has been my biggest fan from day one, and I owe her a lot for all her support and ideas, kind words and encouragement!!
She's a very nice person, but not very into blogging, so she doesn't have a blog, but the link in the list goes to her HUGE gallery instead. Head over there to see some marvellous pics of everything from her many grandkids to her remodeling of her house or pets or activities .. There's always something going on over at Carolyn's end, trust me!!
Carolyn will only post her layouts and QP's here, not take part in other events, at least not for now. She's also in the CT of Scrappy Pammy, her best friend ;o) but also a very talented designer and nice person.

Here's Cindi, aka Vanjo Designs. She's a really sweet person, and one of the best CT members I had in my first CT when I was called Nexa designs, and also under my Scrapoholic Designs period..*lol, sounds like I've been a designer for AGES, haha*
She's a terriffic scrapper, but also makes wonderful Bragbookpages, and Quickpages. She will be making a lot of those as freebies and add-ons to my kits. I can't wait to see them! Cindi also makes some freebies and designs her own creations, and will help out making add-ons to kits such as extra papers or frames or other items, sometimes they go as add-on kits, and sometimes they become freebies for the Nezzi Designs Blog. I am very thankful for your help, Cindi!

Here we have Jillann, who seem to be a really sweet person, even though I haven't known her for a very long time, i can tell you she's a very talented scrapper and also a great designer, who gives away freebies on her blog from time to time.
She has already been a great help to me, since she made the CT blinkie and a fan blinkie as well! In no time at all..*lol*
She applied to my CT after she heard her two friends joined this team, and I'm really happy to have her here!
Jillann will be helping out with add-ons and QP's, BB's and maybe even share her experiences as a designer in PSP.. I haven't ever tried that program, but it's said to be great, and after several years using the PSP, she knows how to make things pretty, I just love her layouts!! Thanks for joining Jillann!

This is Tracy, one of the first to apply to the CT and also the woman behind this blog! A very kind and funny person, who made me laugh three rows in on her application..*lol*
But that's not all.. She's also a very talented scrapper and also a digidesigner, that like Jillann and Cindi, gives away freebies on her personal blog!
Tracy is in 3 CT's counting this one, so I guess she knows how to spend her spare time..*lol* I've been there too, and it's lots of fun, but also a little bit stressful sometimes. She's also a HUUGE fan of Johnny Depp.. and to be honest.. he's a cutie, so I can't say I blaim her, hehe. Tracy has a lot of kids, mine, yours and ours, like she says, all together 9!!! Multitasking here I come..*lmao*
Tracy told her friends from another CT to join this one, and they did, so she brought three talents in all, so I guess I owe her big, haha.

This is Lynn, she's a math teacher and aslo a very talented scrapper, and she will be responsible for posting ads and spreading the word about me and us in groups, as well as make some QP's and BB's sometimes.
She's a really nice person, and I hope to get to know her, or well, all of you, better really soon!!
Oh, I know one thing..*lol* She doesn't like YELLOW!! *lmao*
So I went with green and "creme" for her picture.
Oh, She uses GIMP for her creations, so if anyone else does, maybe you could learn from each other?!
Anyway, I'm glad to have her on the team, I bet she's a star like the rest of you!!

QP Sue is one of the old members in my CT, and she's now a CT for one of the stores I'm in, Busyscrappin. Therefor, she'll just pop a QP every now and then, since she's scrappin for all the store designers there.. *lots to do I bet!!*
Sue is a Licensed nurse and you can almost tell, she's a very caring person!
Sue has developed her scrapping a great deal since I first got to know her about a year ago. Back then she was Scrappy Schnooks, I think it is such a cool screen name..*lol* .
Sue will probably not be seen here a lot, but she's helping out with the promotion, so I think she deserves some credit for all the hard work she puts in on my kits!! Thanks a lot Sue, I am really glad to have you in the CT, even if you are "invisible" like Carolyn. Both of you still deserve to be showed off just a little bit..*lol*

Finally, here's Melinda! She heard of my CT call from Tracy, and joined us along with Jillann, and WOW am I excited to see what this girl will make from my kits!!
She, as well as the entire CT, is very gifted as a scrapper, and also as a designer, and once in a while, there's a freebie on her blog! Melinda will help making freebies and QP's/BB's when needed. She's playing in PSP like the other ones I snagged from the Farrah CT *Jillann and Tracy*.
My son likes her freebie blog a lot, since it has loads of pretty CARS on the background ;o) He was all excited to see it..*lol*
Anyway, I'm glad to have you all in the CT, and I sure hope we'll have some fun together!
